Monthly Bulletin Message
| | February 2012 - ENLIST IN GOD'S ARMY NOW! |
Very few of us have ever experienced times of war in our lives, even fewer have been directly involved in armed conflict. Praise GOD for that! In this country, the army is actually contracting. Recently it was announced that 7,000 soldiers are losing their jobs with thousands more over the next few years! My own cousin is also leaving his profession as an army officer, having served terms in both Afghanistan and Iraq. At this time when the British Army is shrinking in the natural, I believe the LORD wants us to super-naturally enlist & train like soldiers for battle:
Whatever GOD has already spoken to you this year, you really need to follow through, continue & increase. Which comfort zones need penetrating? Which habits need changing? Which Godly disciplines need establishing? What physical or spiritual 'junk food' needs eliminating? Which relationships need healing?
Now is not the time to relax in the deception of worldly comfort. Yes, we need to rest always in Jesus our peace, trusting His provision and promise to fight for us. But from that place of stability we need to diligently seek His Kingdom and His Righteousness.
GOD is with us! He is good all the time and loves you! Keep looking to Him in prayer, faith & action, and though weak, - He will make you strong! ENLIST NOW!
Shalom and love in the LORD, Captain of Heaven's Armies
